The experience
At Nohoch Che'en, the Caves Branch River slips in and out of the mountainside, and you drift with it — headlamp on, backside in an inner tube, watching limestone formations scroll past in lamplight between chambers that open like cathedrals.
Between cave passages you're back in daylight jungle, floating under vines and fig trees. It's the rare adventure that grandparents and teenagers enjoy equally, and it pairs beautifully with zip-lining the same morning.
