The experience
The Mopan carried Maya canoes to Xunantunich for centuries. These days it carries guests, kayak by kayak, on easy green stretches between Bullet Tree Falls and the bridges of San Ignacio.
Go with a guide or take it slow and simple: paddle, drift, watch herons work the shallows, and pull out whenever the bank looks inviting. It's the most peaceful hour you'll spend in Belize.
